No, the Bestway SaluSpa is not designed to withstand temperatures as low as -40°C. The Freeze Shield® system maintains internal temperatures between 6°C and 10°C to prevent freezing, and storage is recommended if outdoor temperatures fall below 6°C (42.8°F).
