Normally, at the RJ45 port it is connected the Ethernet cable coming from the router when it is installed. Mode 4 Board Mode 4 board is controlling the communications of the Charging Station with the Electric vehicle. Also, most of the alarms like the emergency button, isolation protectors or clixon are managed by this board. Raption 150 mounts two Mode 4 boards. Every one manages the communications with the EV for each connector independently.

Raption 150 Service Manual Raption 150 Service Manual CCS Board This board is in charge of the communications of the CCS connector. It works as a bridge between the EV and the Mode 4, translating the communications from PLC to CAN protocol. This CCS board is integrated in the Mode 4 control board.

Electrical scheme Update There is a specific guide explaining the procedure to update this board. It can be updated manually following the steps described in the guide "How to update CCS board IoTecha M2ievse" which can be found in the Expert Area. Additionally, remote upgrade via Screen firmware update, same as the Mode 4 board, is expected to be implemented soon.
Raption 150 Service Manual Raption 150 Service Manual Distributor board This board works as a RJ45 centralizer of the internal communications of the charging station. There is one in the Dispenser and another one in the Power Unit. There must be a cable installed between them both during the commissioning of the Charging Station.
Supervisor board Supervisor board is located in the Power Unit. It works as a communications centralizer of most of the components of the Power Unit via RS485 and CAN as well. It is connected in serial with the Nodes boards and manages them. Supervisor board also works as a centralizer of alarms of the Power Unit such as Tamper, Clixon or Overvoltage protection (when included).
Raption 150 Service Manual Raption 150 Service Manual Nodes boards There are two Nodes boards. These boards are identically than Supervisors board in terms of hardware, however their functions are different. Each one of them controls one of the power blocks and can close the output contactors.
Raption 150 Service Manual Raption 150 Service Manual Relays boards Relays boards are managed by the Nodes boards. There are 4 boards of this type. Their function is to activate/deactivate the supply of the power modules. So each board can operate on three power modules. When new Charge Transaction starts these boards will close or remain open depending on the demand of the EV charging, so only will be activated the necessary modules to arrive to the target power.

Raption 150 Service Manual Raption 150 Service Manual Composed by a compact system that includes a current transformer and differential relay that activates when current leakage is detected. There are two of them installed, one for each power block circuit (before the AC/ DC converters).
MCCBs There are two MCCBs. Each one protects one power block. These devices receive the signal of the RCD and will trigger if there is a current leakage. When this occurs, the switch lever goes into the mid position. To rearm the device, make sure that the leakage cause is fixed/resolved and recover the error in the RCD.

Raption 150 Service Manual Raption 150 Service Manual Backflow diode and Clixon It is installed when there is a CHAdeMO connector mounted in the Charging Station. Backflow diode protects the internal components of the Raption from any current that could come from the oposite side, from the EV to the Charging Station. This may occur in case there is a problem balancing the voltages, either on the EV or in the Charging Station side.

Electrical scheme Backflow diode is located just after the power modules, when positive and negative wire are collected, and before the DC cables fo to the Dispenser. Clixon is located next to it and connected to the Supervisor board, sending an alarm if there is a temperature trouble.
Raption 150 Service Manual Transient surge protector The Charging Station can be equipped with four pole transient surge protector as an opcional protection. It has four interchangeable cartridges based on varistor. Also, it is equipped with a visual indicator and a remote indicator. Remote indicator is not integrated, so make sure visually that the status of the cartridges is correct during maintenance tasks.
Isolation protection device This device monitors the insulation of the Charging Station for electric vehicles for DC voltage between 0 and 1100Vdc.(CCS) or 0 and 500Vdc (CHA). In Raption 150, there are two isolation protectors, one for each connector. They are measuring constantly the resistance between positive wire to the ground and negative wire to the ground.

Raption 150 Service Manual Power supplies There is a power supply of 12Vdc and another one of 24Vdc supplying most of the electronic components: fans, boards, screen, router, etc. Power supply 24Vdc Power supply 12Vdc Dispenser and Power Unit are both equipped with these power supplies, so there are 4 of them in total.
UPS provides enough supply to the control boards to perform a controlled stop of an on-going Charging Transaction, in case there is a blackout or the RCBO of the main supply triggers. There are two of these units in the Charging Station. One is located in the Power Unit while the other one is in the Dispenser.

Raption 150 Service Manual Teltonika RUT 240 Raption includes a router to allow the Charging Station to communicate and remote access. This device is used normally to establish communications with a CSMS so Raption can be remotely managed. It also allows remote access, which is very useful for maintenance, remote diagnosis and eventually, to adjust the settings of the Charging Station, such as tariffs or language.

Engine errors DC errors As indicated in the picture above there are ‘Engine errors’ and also ‘DC errors’. Errors from AC side are normally easier to identify.
