8.18 GNSS Sensor Mounting

Mount the C-NavX1 GNSS receiver to a f lat surf ace. Shock isolators suitable f or 0.50 kg (1.1 lbs) may be
necessary f or environments with high vibration, i.e. Earth moving equipment or aircraf t installation.
Do not place the sensor in a conf ined space or where it may be exposed to excessive heat, moisture, or humidity.
Technical specif ications f or the C-NavX1 GNSS receiver GNSS sensor are located in
Environmental Specif ications.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the C-NavX1 GNSS receiver. Removing the screws that
keep the receiver together will void the equipment warranty.
