General The DC control unit GS2 is a power supply unit for controlling 24 V Becker DC drives. The performance figures for the control unit are tailored to these drives. If the trans- former is overloaded, a thermoswitch in the transformer will deactivate and will only re- activate when the control unit has been disconnected from the mains. -

Intended use The control unit type in these instructions is intended for the supply and control of 24 V DC tubular drives from the company Becker-Antriebe, which are used for sun pro- tection, roller shutters, roller doors and similar blinds or shutters. -

Installation Caution • Before installation, the control unit must be checked for any damage sustained in transport or elsewhere. Dam- age to the interior of the control unit may lead to consid- erable consequential damage to the control unit and jeopardise the safety of the operator. -

Operation The green LED serves as a control for the 24 V supply voltage. The red LED indicates impermissibly high generator operation. If the tubular drive is powered at over double the rated speed, the voltage will increase to over 50 V, which will be indicated by the red LED. -
