WARNING
• Reversing the power and ground connections will damage the unit and void the warranty.
• HIGH CURRENT interconnects must be properly terminated. Poor crimp quality can cause heat
build-up and fire. Follow crimp connector manufacturer instructions. Always verify that the
mating terminals for high current connectors use the same plating finish.
• DO NOT install this product or route any wires in the Air Bag Deployment Zone. Refer to vehicle
Owner's Manual for deployment zones.
• DO NOT use system to disconnect headlights, brake lights or other safety equipment.
• Unit may become hot to touch during normal operation.
• Failure to properly install connectors, fuses or wiring may cause equipment or vehicle failure
or fire.
• Installation must only be performed by trained technician. Installer must determine vehicle
wiring configuration and proper integration of system.
• Use proper wire gauge. All power wires connecting to positive (+) or negative (-) battery
terminal or local chassis ground (-) must be sized to supply at least 125% of max. current and
properly fused at power source.
• Install protective grommets when routing wire through firewall or metal.
• It is the installer's responsibility to verify installation of special connectors or greases as listed
in this installation manual. Neglecting to do so may result in product failure and/or warranty
refusal.

NTRODUCTION

SoundOff
Signal's
powerful,
bluePRINT has been designed from the ground up as a
complete solution for even the most advanced
emergency vehicle needs. It is capable of managing
multiple connected devices, including lightbars, control
panels, and remote input and output modules.
The ENGND04102 Remote Node provides expansion to
the already capable bluePRINT 500 Series Control
System or Central Controller, including:
• Four solid state outputs capable of up to 10 amps
• Six solid state outputs capable of up to 5 amps
• Four positive or negative activated inputs,
programmable through SoundOff Central.
The system's most advanced features are configurable
using our SoundOff Central application for Windows.
With SoundOff Central you can program input and output
relationships, read vehicle data signals, build virtual
inputs, and manage load-shed using voltage or timers.
Additionally, you can use the diagnostics interface to
validate your program and troubleshoot connections.
