WARNINGS/CAUTIONS BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION
Before you install this kit —
instructions, warnings, cautions, and notes contained in
this installation instruction guide. Consult your vehicle
owner's manual for proper disconnection of electrical and
lifting of vehicle if required for installation of this product.
This install may require some technical skills and
knowledge of basic mechanical work. If you do not feel that
you are capable of performing this install please take this
product to a trained professional.

Time to install this should take
about 3 hours.
Proper installation of this kit required knowledge of the factory
recommended procedures for removal and installation of original
equipment components. We recommend that the factory shop manual
and any special tools needed to service your vehicle be on hand during
the installation. Installation of this kit without proper knowledge of the
factory recommended procedures may affect the performance of these
components and the safety of the vehicle
• Always wear eye protection when operating power tools
Inspect all contents of this package to make sure product is not damaged
and all installation hardware has been included. If parts are missing from
kit, please be prepared to provide the following information

- Page 3 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 2 | Disconnect the main wiring harness. Use a trim tool to unclip the wiring harness push pin from the frame. Remove the license plate light. Grab the light/plug and rotate left to remove. STEP 3 | Using a 21mm socket or wrench remove factory bolts on both sides of the bumper (2 per side).
- Page 4 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 4 | Once bumper is removed, place on soft surface to prevent damage. Begin by removing the trailer plug. Use a flat head or trim clip tool press in on both sides of the metal retaining clip and push the plug out toward the front of the bumper.
- Page 5 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 7 | Install trailer wiring connector into the DV8 bumper by pressing the connector through the front side of the bumper until it snaps into place STEP 8 | Use a 10mm wrench, #4 Allen tool and the provided M6 hardware to secure the license plate light housing in place.
- Page 6 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 10 | If running pod lights, install them now. For this install we are using (2) 3” DV8 Elite pod lights. STEP 11 | Install the provided M10 clip nuts onto the bumper mounting brackets. 855-680-9595 NEED HELP?
- Page 7 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 12 | Place the frame mounting bracket on the bumper, use the provided M10 Hex bolts to loosely secure bracket in place. Use 1 split washer and 1 flat washer per bolt. STEP 13 | With the license plate lights, trailer connector and frame brackets installed on the bumper it is ready to be mounted on the vehicle.
- Page 8 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 15 | Secure the factory hardware using a 21mm socket or wrench secure factory bolts on both sides of the bumper (2 per side) STEP 16 | Using a 16mm wrench secure hardware on the bumper mounting brackets. 855-680-9595 NEED HELP?
