We have designed your Foot Pedal to be an accurate and reliable tool that will enhance boat operation and improve your ability to catch fish. This product does not relieve you from the responsibility for safe operation of your boat.

    The new Corded Foot Pedal accessory comes with everything needed to install it to the trolling motor. These instructions show how to install the Corded Foot Pedal to an Ulterra or a Riptide Ulterra. Please review the parts list and mounting considerations for installation prior to getting started.
  • Page 4 INSTALLATION INSTALLATION Installing the Foot Pedal ITEM(S) NEEDED #A x 1 #2 x 4 Take the Foot Pedal (Assembly #A) and turn it over. Put a Foot Pedal Pad (Item #2) in each of the pad locations. Foot Pedal Foot Pedal Bottom Bottom Adding the Foot Pedal pads is optional.

    CONTROLLING SPEED & STEERING WITH THE FOOT PEDAL The Foot Pedal is used to operate the Ulterra or Riptide Ulterra trolling motor. The controls on the Foot Pedal are easy to use by either foot or hand. The motor can also be controlled with a Minn Kota Wireless Remote or any compatible Minn Kota remote. Refer to the associated remote manual for instructions.

    Control Head directly corresponds to the position of the motor. Use the foot pedal to control the steering direction during manual operation. Heel/Toe Steering functions the same in Normal Mode and Ulterra Mode. The direction of the motor can also be controlled with a remote.

  • Page 13 SPOT-LOCK HOW SPOT-LOCK WORKS Spot-Lock uses a single point of reference that is recorded when the Spot-Lock button is pressed. The reference point is a set of GPS coordinates captured at the location of the trolling motor at the moment the button is pressed. This point is recorded and can be saved into one of the Spot-Lock memory locations.
