    Safety instructions GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS WARNING! Read safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

    Intended use This power tool is intended for cutting wood and similar material e. g. MDF and chipboard, plastic and metal using appropriate saw blades. The product must be used in an upright position only with the base plate laying flat on the workpiece.
  • Page 29 NOTE: The required stroke rate is dependent on the material and the work conditions and can be determined using practical tests. It is recommended that you reduce the stroke rate when placing the saw blade on the workpiece and when sawing plastic and aluminium. During prolonged periods of use at a low stroke rate, the power tool may heat up significantly.
  • Page 30 NOTE: The adjusting of bevel angle is not applicable for curve cutting. Automatic work light The LED work light (14) will illuminate when pressing the On(I) button (2), and will automatically turn off a short while after pressing the Off(O) button (3) (Fig. N). Higher pressure will not increase but lower the performance of the product and leads to uneven results. 8. Keep the product moving at all times, do not stop in one position to avoid grooves. 9.
