Power module: The front-to-rear airflow is used. The fan modules draw air for forced convection.
Service module: The right-to-rear airflow is used. The fan modules draw air for forced convection.
Supervisor module and switch fabric module: The bottom-to-rear airflow is used. The fan modules draw air for
forced convection.
Note

When placing the chassis, leave the clearance of at least 10 cm (3.94 in.) around the device for heat
dissipation.

On the chassis, install the filler panel in the unoccupied slot.
