Trackpad
For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• "Base cover assembly" on page 58
• "Built-in battery" on page 64
• "Smart card reader-trackpad-NFC cable (for selected models)" on page 76
Step 1.
Remove the trackpad as shown below.
Note: There might exist a waterproof mylar covering the trackpad, remove the mylar before
replacement.

Step 2.
Install the trackpad as shown below.

A trackpad jig might come with the trackpad which is used for fixing the location of the
trackpad. Attach the trackpad jig to the trackpad and bend the four angles as shown by arrows
below.
