Step 2.
When installing:
• Ensure that the connector is attached firmly.
• Ensure that the cable is routed properly.
• Reset the system date and time in the BIOS menu.
Smart card reader-trackpad-NFC cable (for selected models)
For access, remove these FRUs:
• "Base cover assembly" on page 58
• "Built-in battery" on page 64
Step 1.
Remove the smart card reader-trackpad-NFC cable as shown below.
Step 2.
Install the smart card reader-trackpad-NFC cable in reverse order. When installing, ensure that the
connectors are attached firmly.
