Problem
The flexible induction cooking
area does not heat up the cook‐
ware.
The indicator above the symbol
comes on.
The control bar blinks.
Heating up takes a long time.
and a number come on.

If you cannot find a solution to the problem
yourself, contact your dealer or an Authorised
Service Centre. Give the data from the rating
plate. Make sure, you operated the hob
correctly. If not the servicing by a service

Possible cause
The cookware is in a wrong position
on the flexible induction cooking
area.
The diameter of the bottom of the
cookware is incorrect for the activa‐
ted function or function mode.
Child Safety Device or Lock oper‐
ates.
There is no cookware on the zone or
the zone is not fully covered.
The cookware is unsuitable.
The diameter of the bottom of the
cookware is too small for the zone.
Flex Bridge (Flexible Bridge) oper‐
ates. One or more sections of the
function mode which operates are
not covered by the cookware.
Cookware is too small and receives
only a part of the power generated
by the cooking zone.
PowerSlide operates. Two pots are
placed on the flexible induction
cooking area or the cookware covers
more than one cooking area activa‐
ted by the function.
There is an error in the hob.

Remedy
Place the cookware in the correct posi‐
tion on the flexible induction cooking
area. The position of the cookware de‐
pends on the activated function or
function mode. Refer to "Flexible in‐
duction cooking area".
Use cookware with a diameter applica‐
ble to the activated function or function
mode. Refer to "Flexible induction
cooking area".
Refer to "Child Safety Device" and
"Lock".
Put cookware on the zone so that it
fully covers the cooking zone.
Use cookware suitable for induction
hobs. Refer to "Hints and tips".
Use cookware with correct dimen‐
sions. Refer to "Technical data".
Place the cookware on the correct
number of sections of the function
mode which operates or change the
function mode. Refer to "Flexible in‐
duction cooking area".
For optimal heat transfer use cook‐
ware with bottom diameter similar to
the size of the cooking zone (i.e. the
maximum cookware diameter value in
"Technical data" > "Cooking zones
specification").
Use only one pot. Refer to "Flexible in‐
duction cooking area".
Deactivate the hob and activate it
again after 30 seconds. If
on again, disconnect the hob from the
electrical supply. After 30 seconds,
connect the hob again. If the problem
continues, speak to an Authorised
Service Centre.
