Activating the hotel service
lf a TV set is installed in a hotel room, the volume of the set
should be limited and it should not be possible to modify the
storing of the TV stations.
This TV set can be programmed for use in a hotel room.
Switch off the TV set with the power switch OI on the set.
Press and hold down button C/S of the remote control and
switch the TV set on again.
The following display field is shown on the screen.

The yellow mark is in the line VOLUME MAX.
Press the button E. MAX changes to 63. 63 is red.
Using button < or > adjust the desired maximum volume
and then press button E.
The adjustment has been stored and the display field disap-
pears. ~
Now the volume can only be modified up to the stored maxi-
mum value and the stored TV stations cannot be modified.
Deactivating the hotel service
Switch on the display field as described.
Deconnect the antenna plug so that the TV set is muted.
Press button E, adjust the volume up to 63 and press button E
twice.
Now insert the antenna plug again.

Videotext
What is videotext?
Videotext is called the additional information being simulta-
neously emitted with the TV programmes by the TV stations.
By means of this videotext decoder in your TV set the additio-
nal information can be shown on the screen.
Videotext can be texts, graphical representations or subtitles
for TV programmes. The latter should be a help for persons
with difficulties of hearing.
Videotext will be transmitted with whole pages.
The pages are provided with numbers.
They are selected by means of the remote control.
Important note
If the antenna signal is not perfect, videotext pages may be
reproduced defectively, although the TV set works absolutely
perfectly.
There is a particular danger for that, if the TV picture is grainy
or double images occur.
Please let your antenna system be checked.
Switching over to videotext operation
Press button TV/&.
When first switching over from TV operation to videotext ope-
ration, the overview on page 100 will be indicated, otherwise
you will see the page last viewed.
Page 100 is also activated by pressing button i.
Selecting the pages
This videotext decoder may receive all videotext pages up to
page number 899.
By means of the numeric buttons enter the page number.
On the upper left part of the screen the selected page number
is indicated.
As soon as the page has been found, it is indicated on the
screen.
The next page number is activated directly by pressing tne
green bution.
You switch back to the preceding page by pressing the red
button.
