First-time operation (continued)
Storing of TV stations
By pressing button A or V repeatedly move the yellow mar-
king to the line STATION TABLE.
Press button E.
A display field, which is similar to the following illustration, is
indicated.

Below PR the number of the programme site is shown.
In our example it is the programme site 01. 01 is red.
in this display field you have to enter the details for programme
site 1.
@ Entering the channel number
Two different ways can be used to enter channel num-
bers.
1. Using direct input of the channel number, if it is known.
2. Using channel search, if the channel number is un-
known.
Direct channel input
Press button < or > until C or S below CH becomes red.
C means channels 01-99.
S means special channels S01-S99 as possible with cable
TV.
Select C or S in accordance with the type of channel you
wish to store. For this press button A or V.
Press button > and the channel number becomes red.
Enter the channel number by means of the numeric but-
tons. In case of a one-digit channel number press first the
numeric button 0, then the corresponding channel! number.
Please continue with the chapter "Entering the station
name".
Channel search
Press button < or > until the channel number below CH
becomes red.
Press and hold button A or V.
Search
tuning is activated and stops, when a channel is
found.
If it is not the correct channel, briefly release the button and
press it again. Channel search continues.
Repeat this process until the correct channel has been
found.
Now continue with chapter "Entering the station name".

@ Entering the station name
If you »enter« a station name below NAME, it is always
briefly indicated in the picture, when you activate this pro-
gramme site.
For this, the memory of your TV set contains many TV sta-
tions to be called up from the memory. Station names which
are not included in the memory can be added.
Press button >.
The four positions below NAME become red.
Press button A or V repeatedly to have the station names
indicated successively.
After having found the name press button E.
The display field for the next programme site is shown. Now
you may enter the next channel number, as described.
When the name has not been found, press successively
button < , button > and button E to be able to enter the
name by yourself.
Now, only the first position below NAME is red.
Press repeatedly or hold button A depressed to scroll
through the alphabet and the number 0 - 9.
Press button V to switch back.
A »blank« is provided between 9 and A which might be
used for separations. This blank is indicated with a rectangle
instead of another symbol.
When the correct letter or the correct number has been
found, press button > so that the second position beco-
mes red.
Afterwards scroll again through the alphabet and the num-
bers until the correct sign is indicated.
Press again button > so that the third position becomes
red etc.
Press button E to store your input.
The display field for the next programme site is shown. Now
you may enter the next channel number, as described.
By pressing button i twice, you switch off the activated
display field.
