Adjusting the sound
To adjust the sound you need the AUDIO display field.
Press button #$ and then button E, if AUDIO —->

The first line with the loudspeaker symbols has a yellow mar-
king.

Basic width/spacial sound impression
When pressing button E, the effect is as if the loudspeakers of
a stereo equipment have a greater distance to one another.
By pressing button E once again, this effect is deactivated
again.
Each time when switching on, the TV set is tuned to its basic
state.
Mono, stereo, two-channel sound
By pressing button A or V move the yellow marking to the
second line.
Depending on the type of the current telecast the following is
indicated:
¢ MONDO (telecasts with mono sound)
No adjustments possible.
STEREO
MONO (telecasis with stereo sound)
If interferences occur during telecasts with stereo sound,
the TV set automatically switches over to mono mode.
Press button E, MONO is red.
By pressing button E once again you switch back to STE-
REO.
If the TV set receives programmes with stereo sound when
switching on, it is set to STEREO.

B
(Telecasts with two-channel sound, e.g. 2 languages be-
longing to one film)
You switch over from sound channel A to B and vice versa
by pressing button E repeatedly.
If the TV set receives a telecast with two-channel sound
when switching on, sound channel A is activated.
Modifying trebles, basses or balance
By pressing button A or V move the yellow marking to the
respective line and press button E.
A line is indicated at the bottom of the picture.
By pressing button < or > the adjustment is modified.
For storing press button E twice.
The AUDIO display field is indicated again.
By pressing button i the display field disappears.
