Auto Tuning System (ATS)
Activating ATS
At a new location of your TV set you may find the channels
with the receivable TV programmes by means of ATS.
Press and hold button C/S depressed until the display field
ATS is indicated.

The first line shows COUNTRY
-—-> "" GB.
GB is the country symbol.
By pressing button A repeatedly switch over to the country
symbol of the country where your TV set is operated.
The second line shows AIR
< > CABLE.
The TV set must be switched to AIR, if it is connected to a
traditional antenna system.
The TV set must be switched to CABLE, if it is connected toa
cable TV system.
The indication for the activated system is indicated with red
letters. To switch over use button < or >.
Channel search start
Press button E.
A new display field is indicated.
The automatic channel search starts and stops as soon as a
channel has been found.
If you want to store the channel, press button E and
e the found channel will be stored on programme site 1
* programme site 2 automatically will be activated
¢ channel search will continue.
If you do not want to store the found channel, press but-
ton A and
¢ the channel won't be stored
¢ the next programme site won't be activated
¢ channel search will continue.
After having passed through the whole range, the display field
ATS is indicated again.
If you wish to modify the order of the found channels, please
continue with this text.

Sorting and entering the station names
Press button AUX. The display field is indicated.

The line of programme site P 1 is red.
If you wish, for instance, to move the channel number of pro-
gramme site P 4 to programme site P 1, press button V until
the line of programme site P 4 becomes red.
Press button E and the line becomes yellow.
Press button A until the channel number is in the line of pro-
gramme site P 1.
Press button E . The channel number is now red, only the four
dashes behind the channel number are still yellow.
You may enter the station name here.
This station name is always briefly indicated in the picture,
when this programme site is activated.
For this, the memory of your TV set contains many TV sia-
tions to be called up from the memory. Station names which
are not included in the memory can be added.
Press button A or V repeatedly to have the station names
indicated successively.
After having found the name press button E.
Now the whole line P 1 is red again.
Now you can move the next channel number.
If the name has not been found and the four dashes are
indicated again, press button E.
Only the first of the four dashes remains yellow.
Now you may enter the station name by yourself.
Press repeatedly or hold button A depressed to scroll through
the alphabet and the number 0 - 9.
Press button V to switch back.
A »blank« is provided between 9 and A which might be used
for separations.
When the correct letter or the correct number has been foun d,
press button > so that the second position becomes red.
Afterwards scroll again through the alphabet and the nurn-
bers until the correct sign is indicated etc.
if the station name is complete, press button E and the whole
line P 1 is red again.
Now you can move the next channel number.
Finally press button i.
