Childproof TV lock and Sleep Timer
Unlocking the childproof TV lock
The childproof TV lock ensures that your child can watch TV
only when you deem it right.
Sleep Timer can be used to program the time at which the set
shall switch off automatically.
With the childproof TV lock and the Sleep Timer activated,
the TV set is on for a limited period of time before it switches
off automatically.
Activating the childproof TV lock
ATV set with activated childproof TV lock requests to enter a
four-digit code before starting to reproduce picture and sound.
You must define the four-digit number which can be modified
at any time.
Enter the number as follows:
Press button 1 and as soon as MENU

the picture, press immediately button E.
The table is indicated.

A yellow marking is shown in the first line.
Press button E. © -TIMER becomes red.
Press button < or > so that the symbol! »=Q becomes red.
Press button E once again.
The following display field appears.
Use the numeric buttons to enter the four digits and press
button E. The table is indicated again.
Press button i and the table disappears.
The code number is stored and the childproof TV lock is acti-
vated.
If now the TV set is switched off and on again, the childproof
TV lock must be unlocked.

The table is indicated.
A yellow marking is shown in the first line.
Press button E. © -TIMER becomes red.
Press button E once again.
The following display field appears.
Code number lost - what has to be done?
Press successively the following buttons:
>.<, V,A.
Now the code number is erased.
