What can be connected to the TV set? (continued)
Decoder (for Premiere, Teleclub ...)
Stations which partially transmit coded programmes may be
fed into cable TV systems.
To decode these programmes, you are in need of a decoder.
It is possible to rent this decoder at your local dealer.
Such a unit has to be connected to the black Euro AV jack of
your TV set.

The decoder functions automatically.
As soon as acoded programme is received, the decoder and
the TV set are switched over.
For this, the TV set has to be »prepared« once.
Activate the programme site on which the station emitting co-
ded programmes has been stored.
Press button i and as soon as MENU

is indicated in
the picture, press immediately button E.
A table is indicated.
By pressing button A or V move the yellow mark to the line
STATION TABLE.
Press button E. A display field is shown in the picture.
Press button 0/AV once.
A dot illuminates behind the P character of PR and AUTO-
MATIC lights up two lines below.

AUTOMATIC means that in this operating mode the TV set
can identify stereo sound, two-channel sound or mono sound
programmes by itself and automatically switches to the re-
quired mode.
Note:
If the sound of a stereo programme is interfered, or if the
second channel should be totally missing, or if the two lan-
guages should be audible simultaneously in the two-channel
sound, switch the automatic control off. Press button 0/ AV
repeatedly.
The following display indications are shown one after another:
STEREO, MONO L, MONO R.
Choose the mode with the best sound conditions.
Press button E.
The display field for the next programme site appears.
If there are more than one station emitting coded programmes,
proceed with the respective programme sites as described.

Activate the programme site with button A or V.
By pressing button i twice, you switch off the activated dis-
play field.
