Adjusting the brightness
You can adj ust the brigh t ness for the four zones
Front top, Front footwell , Rear top and Rear
footwell or for All areas at the same time.
Selecting a color profile
You can select from the Ivory, Polar and Ruby/
Polar color profi les.

The settings are automatically stored and as-
sig ned to the remo t e control key that is in
use.
Instrument illumination
You can adjust the brightness of the instrument
and display illumination as well as the Head-up
Display*.

.. Press the knob to release it.
.. Turn the knob toward"-" or" +" to reduce or in-
crease the brightness .
.. Press the knob again to return it to its orig inal
positio n.

Tips
The instrument ill umination (for dia ls and
needles) lights on when the igni t ion is switch-
ed on and t he vehicle lights are tu rned off. As
t he daylight fade s, the ill uminat ion of t he di-
als lik ewi se dims autom at ically and w ill go
out comp lete ly when the outsi de light is very
low. This feature is meant to rem ind you to
switch on the headlights when outside light
conditions become poor.

Turn the knob to the desired position:
Q/P
- Adjusting the left/right exterior mirror.
Move the knob in t he desired direct ion .

Front passenger 's exterior mirror tilt
function
To help you see t he curb when backing into a
parking space, t he surface of the mirro r tilts
slight ly. For this to happen, the knob must be in
the position f or the front passenger's outside
mirror .
You can adjust the t ilted mir ror surface by tu rn-
ing the knob in the desired direct ion. When you
move out of reverse and into another gear, the
new m irror position is stored and assigned to the
key you are using.
The m irror goes back into its or iginal position
once you drive forward faster t han 9 mph (15
km/h) or switch the ignition off.

Curved m irror surfaces (aspher ic or convex*)
enlarge the field of vision . However, they
make objects in the mirro r appear small er
