The sun shade is located on the luggage com-
partment shelf.

When the sun shade is in the lowe red posi-
tion, it is secured in the retaine r @ .

To raise ® the sun shade, remove it from
the reta iner.

Do not use t he sun shade to secure cargo.
The luggage compartme nt cover is not a
surface for storing objects. Objects placed
on th e cover could endanger all vehi cle oc-
cupants dur ing sudden braki ng maneuvers
or in a crash.

Move the windshie ld wiper lever to the corre-
sponding position:

Rain sensor mode . The windsh ield wipers
switc h on once the veh icle speed exceeds ap-
proximate ly 2 mph (4 km/h) and it is raining.
The higher t he rain sensor sensit ivity is set
(switch @ to the right), the earlier the wind-
shield wipers react to moisture on the w ind-
shield. You can deactivate rain sensor mode in
the MMI, which will then activate interm ittent
mode. Select:
