4-Wire Direct Wire Connection
IMPORTANT: A 4-wire connection is required for mobile homes
and where local codes do not permit 3-wire connections.

Prepare your 4-wire cable for direct
connection

Direct wire cable must have 5 ft (1.52 m) of extra length so
dryer may b e moved if needed.
Prepare t o connect neutral bond wire and
neutral wire

Remove center terminal block screw (B). Remove neutral
bond wire (E) from green external bond conductor screw (A).
Connect neutral b o n d wire and neutral wire

Connect neutral bond wire (E) and place hooked end (hoo
hooked ends together and tighten screw.

Connect remaining wires

Place hooked ends of remaining direct wire cable wires unde
outer terminal block screws (hooks facing right). Squeeze
terminal block cover into slot of dryer rear panel. Secure
cover with hold-down screw. Now, go to "Venting
Requirements."
