PRESENTATION
LogBox LTE is a wireless electronic data logger that has 2 analog sensors and 1 digital sensor, respectively referred to as "analog measurement
channel" and "digital measurement channel". The device has 1 USB interface for local configuration and 1 mobile communication interface for direct
1
communication with NOVUS Cloud (https://iot2.novusautomation.com/)
or MQTT Brokers and for sending events via SMS.
Its memory capacity is up to 140,000 logs.
The device operates with an external power supply and has internal batteries for backup. It is possible to configure its behavior during the absence
of external power supply, according to the following options: 1) Keep the device operating with full capabilities; 2) Turn off cellular communication to
preserve power and keep the device recording for a longer period.
The housing has a protective cover for the connections, a sealing ring, and a bracket that allows the device to be fixed to a wall or metal surface.
The analog inputs accept any type of temperature sensor, such as thermocouples, Pt100 or sensors for other quantities with current or voltage
signals. The digital channel can either log the time of events (such as the opening of a door) or count and/or accumulate pulses from a flow sensor.
LogBox LTE also has the following internal sensors: Temperature, battery voltage, and external source voltage, whose values can be registered in
memory and published in NOVUS Cloud or via MQTT, as well as monitored by the USB interface, by SMS or through the display.
Its display allows you to simultaneously visualize up to 3 variables and shows indications about alarms, communication status, enabled channels,
voltage level of backup batteries, among other information.
LogBox LTE has 1 digital output, which can be used as an output to indicate alarms or as an electronic switch to power sensors, and can be
controlled via MQTT, for example.
In operation, LogBox LTE logs data in memory and publishes it directly to NOVUS Cloud or MQTT Brokers. The interval between logs and the
publishing interval are configurable. The logged data and the device configuration can be accessed through a PC via USB (using the NXperience
software, available in the Download Area of our website) or remotely via NOVUS Cloud.
1 NOVUS Cloud is a cloud portal that allows you to manage the registered data and perform remote configurations on your device.
