LogBox LTE has 1 digital output, which can be used as an output to indicate alarms or as an electronic switch to power sensors, and can be controlled via MQTT, for example.
  • Page 6: Display And Navigation

DISPLAY INFORMATION LogBox LTE has a 3-line 4 ½ digit numeric LCD display. It allows you to view the current value of all enabled channels as well as their minimum and maximum values. Simultaneously, it is possible to view the current value of up to 2 analog channels or the current value of the digital input.

  • Page 14: Input Signal Readings

INPUT SIGNAL READINGS LogBox LTE allows you to choose, in addition to the channels to be recorded and the sensor types, some configurations that make various applications more flexible. Thus, you can analyze the energy resources expended (battery lifespan) and data storage (log memory duration period).
  • Page 15: Input Types: Measurement And Indication

    ● Internal Diagnostic Sensors: ○ Inform the voltage from the possible LogBox LTE power supply sources. ○ The maximum resolution for the internal diagnostic sensors is 0.01 V. ○ They can be configured to be displayed with 0, 1, or 2 decimal places.
  • Page 16 Table 2 – Measurement and indication of input types LogBox LTE allows you to configure settings to be applied to analog sensor readings. These settings can be used to correct errors in the sensor or process in which the sensor is installed and are applied individually for each analog channel. Two adjustment modes are provided: Offset: Allows each analog channel to select an Offset value to be added to the channel reading indication.
  • Page 17: Digital Input

This problem can be more easily mitigated if we know the frequency. DIGITAL INPUT LogBox LTE has a digital input channel that can be set to the following modes: 1) Pulse Count, 2) Event Log, or 3) Log Control. The digital input can be disabled.
  • Page 18 If the sensor is a Dry Contact type, the LogBox LTE count registers (16 bits and 32 bits) will be able to count up to 10 pulses per second. For PNP and NPN sensors, 2000 pulses per second.

(user-customized unit). In the same example, the log interval can be assumed to be 20 seconds. As such, if the sensor gives 20 pulses per second, LogBox LTE will log 400 pulses per interval, displaying 40 parts per minute (((20 pulses/s)/(30 pulses/part)) * 60 (1 min) = 40).
  • Page 20: Digital Output

DIGITAL OUTPUT LogBox LTE has a PNP digital output that, when triggered, puts the voltage from the external source to the respective terminal and can be disabled or configured to operate in one of the modes described below: ● Auxiliary Electronic Switch: Allows you to control the power supply of external instruments during analog channel readings.

If date/time syncing is disabled, the device will use the user-configured date/time, not correcting it until a new configuration is applied. As such, in the event of a power outage, LogBox LTE will not be able to reset the clock on its own. The device will thus not log anything until the clock is reconfigured.
