TYRE REPAIR KIT
(where provided)
Minor damage to the tyre tread can be
repaired with the tyre repair kit.
Do not remove foreign bodies from the
tyres.
Tyre damage exceeding 4 mm or that is at
tyre's sidewall cannot be repaired with the
tyre repair kit.

In the case of a flat tyre:
stop the car in a position that is not
dangerous for oncoming traffic where
you can carry out the procedure safely.
The ground must be as level and
compact as possible
stop the engine, switch on the hazard
warning lights, apply the parking brake
and engage the first gear (for manual
gearbox), reverse gear or P (for Electric
Drive Unit)
steer the wheels completely. In the
event of a steep slope, place a wedge or
stone behind the wheels
before getting out of the car, put on the
reflective safety jacket (if required by
the regulations in force). In any case,
follow the road safety laws in force in
the country where you are travelling

make sure that any passengers get
out of the car and go to a safe place
where they will not obstruct traffic or
be exposed to the risk of injury. In the
event of a puncture, change the tyre in
accordance with the laws of the country
in which you are travelling
the tyre repair kit is in the load
compartment below the floor cover,
remove the sealant bottle and the
compressor
pull speed limit label from the top of
the sealant bottle and place it in driver's
visible area

remove the electrical connection
cable (2) fig. 32 and air hose (1) from
the stowage compartments on the
underside of the compressor
join the sealant bottle to the compressor
and rotate the bottle 1/4 turn clockwise

unscrew the valve cap from the
defective tyre and screw the filler hose
to the tyre valve (1) fig. 33. Screw the
other end of the filler hose to the sealant
bottle, (2) fig. 33
connect the compressor plug to the 12V
power outlet. To avoid discharging the
conventional battery, we recommend
running the engine
turn the ON-OFF switch (3) fig. 33 to I
(ON): all the sealant is pumped into the
tyre, then the tyre is being inflated
