Setup

Gigabit to USB 3.0
Connect purge gas
Adapter
source (Air, Nitrogen,
Argon 10 SLPM (35
PSI / 2.5 BAR).

Ethernet Cable 4.5m
Set up a suitable
beam dump. An
Ophir Power Sensor is
recommended.

Center the beam in the
BeamWatch Aperture.
• Align the beam to
the scribe marks on
the alignment tool.
• The scribe line on
the side of the unit
is the nominal center
location of the camera.
Warning:
Remove alignment tool before using BeamWatch with a high-power laser.
Attach power supply cable with proper
adapter

Attach the BeamWatch to
PC Computer (Use Gigabit
to USB 3.0 Adapter as
needed).

Secure BeamWatch unit to
a flat surface.
7.
Install the correct
glass insert for the
wavelength of the
laser.
8.
Install BeamWatch
software on the PC.
9.
Launch the software.
Begin collecting data in
real time!
