POSSIBLE CAUSE
The pump motor running voltage is
lower
than the calibrated voltage, pump
Pu m p m o t o r r u n n i n g c u r r e n t
higher than the normal running
calibrated current by more than
200%
The motor running current is higher
t h a n t h e c a l i b r a t e d c u r r e n t ,
pump is in over load protection state
Pump impeller is jammed / pump
motor dragging / pump bearing
broken.
Parameter calibration not completed
Low source water level in the well/
sump, pump stops running
Pump starts more than 5 times per
minute.
SOLUTION
Report low line voltage to the power
utility company
Controller will attempt to restart the
pump every 5 minutes until line
voltage is restored to normal
Cut off power supply & repair or
replace pump immediately
Controller will attempt to restart the
pump every 30 minutes until running
ampere is restored to normal
Check pump impeller or bearing
Cut off power supply & repair or
replace pump
Controller will attempt to restart the
pump every 30 minutes until source
water level is above the pump intake
The most common cause for the
r a p i d c y c l e c o n d i t i o n i s a
waterlogged tank.
Check for a leakages in the water
tank. Check the air volume control or
snifter valve for proper operation
Check the setting on the pressure
switch and examine for defects.
Cut off the power supply & repair the
water tank, pressure switch or valve
