mands may be stored, in sequence, in a DOS text file. To execute the command string, initial ­
ize i
S using the command line switch SUBMIT. In the following example, i
S is initialized
from disk drive A, ' submitting ' the i
S commands stored in a file named DO ROM:
A:\IPPS\SUBMIT <DOPROM
NOTE
You cannot use the interactive i
S commands SUBSTITUTE and ALTER in a submit
file.
The SUBMIT switch causes the i
S to automatically scroll the screen display when multiple
pages of data are displayed (in commands such a DIS LAY). Without the SUBMIT switch,
user input is required.
