Internally all iron core linear motors are equally wired and connected,
so one test satisfies to find out the polarization of a motor ruler com-
bination. If more axes are constructed in exactly the same way the
polarization will be equal.
4.4 De-installation order
The de-installation order of this manual must be followed. A different
order may cause dangerous situations and damage or injury due to
uncontrolled magnetic attraction forces.
The de-installation order is as follows:
1. Disconnect the wiring (and hoses when water cooling is applied)
from the coil unit.
2. Move the slide to one side. Secure the slide against unwanted
movements.
3. Dismount the earth connection of the magnet plate (and the
stainless steel cover when applied).
4. Adhere the protection plate to each magnet plate that needs to
be removed.
5. Remove one or more magnet plates. Keep the magnet plates at
least 10 cm away from the coil unit.
6. Move the slide to the other end. Secure the slide against
unwanted movements.
7. Remove remaining magnet plates.
8. Remove the coil unit from the slide.
