Ballast Pump Impellers Ballast Trouble Shooting Guide
The pumps that fi ll and drain the ballast system use an impeller. Your Supra ballast impeller uses the latest poly-
mer technology in an effort to have the longest service life possible. The impellers are a wear item and different
use patterns, water types, debris, etc. can greatly affect the service length of the impeller. As the impellers wear,
the amount of water that is pumped into and out of the ballast system is reduced. The Vision system does have
provision for adjusting fi ll and empty times to accommodate decreased effi ciency due to impeller wear or chang-
ing to difference sized bags (See Vision Dash "System Settings" For more info). Running the pumps without wa-
ter will greatly accelerate the wear and prolonged running of the pumps without water will damage the impeller
to the point that they will require immediate replacement.
Note: Impellers are a wear item and not covered by warranty. Ballast System Utilities- It is not recommended
to change any of the ballast confi guration that are found under the" Utilities" menu on the Vision Dash unless
specifi cally directed to do so by your Authorized Supra dealer. Changing these values may negatively affect the
ballast system or may make the system fail to work all together.
