Ballast System Operation
When AutoWake is ON, the ballast system will automatically fill and empty each of the 3 ballast locations based
on desired Pitch, Roll and Wake AMP settings in the rider profiles. This excludes the CRUISE and BACK TO DOCK
profiles.
When AutoWake is OFF, the system can be filled and emptied by pressing the UP(fill) or DOWN(empty) arrows
near the CENTER, PORT or STBD locations on the center section of the outboard screen to begin filling each bal-
last location. All three locations can be filled at the same time by pressing the FILL ALL button or emptied using
the DRAIN ALL button.
Each time the button is pressed it will increase or decrease the percentage by 5%. The system will automatically
fill or empty till it reaches the set percentage and then shut off. If 100% is selected or FILL ALL, the pumps will
run until the timers reach the preset amounts. There are overflow sensors for the ballast vent hoses that will turn
the pumps off short of the timer preset in the event water begins flowing out before the timers reach 100%. In
the event there is no water detected in the ballast vent hoses when the timers reach 100%, it will automatically
run the pumps for 1 extra minute.
When bags begin to vent, shut off!
Do Not overfill ballast bags!
Ballast System Operation Continued:
If any of the ballast locations is at 100% and a button is pressed to fill that location, the system will go into man-
ual override and run that pump or pumps for 1 minute filling. If any of the ballast locations is at 0% and a button
is pressed to empty that location, the system will go into manual override and run that pump or pumps for 1
minute emptying.
As the ballast is filling or emptying the numbers will change to represent the percentage of ballast in each loca-
tion. These numbers represent the percentage of time required to fill or empty each specific location complete-
ly. The timers will be specific to each Supra model and each ballast location. The are 3 locations also represented
on the boat graphic that will fill or empty with blue color representing the approximate percentage of ballast in
each location.
The ballast system requires the engine to be running to fill but will empty when the engine is not running. The
ballast system can be filled when the engine is not running by way of a Manual Ballast Fill/Drain menu in the
Dealer Settings page.
Empty all ballast completely before loading boat on a trailer or lift. Failure to empty ballast may cause serious
damage to trailer, lift, or boat
