INSTALLATION MANUAL
COMMISSIONING OF PROEDGE REPEATER
To commence the commissioning process, launch the StorSynx application, designed
specifically for commissioning purposes.
• Log in using existing StorLogix Cloud (SLC) user credentials, or if no user has been
created yet, proceed to create one (can be done in the SLC platform only).
• Navigate to the "Devices list" page within the mobile application, select the
"Repeaters" section, and initiate the addition procedure by clicking the "Add
Repeater" button.
Currently, there are three available options for adding Locks and Repeaters devices:
1. Using BLE (primary)
2. Scanning the QR code (secondary)
3. Filling the serial number manually (tertiary)
Commissioning Steps:
• Ensure that at least one Gateway is added; if not, it needs to be added.
• Select Gateway as default in Gateway List or during the add Repeater process.
• Scan the Device QR Code or fetch its serial number using BLE or as an alternative fill
in its Serial Number manually in the appropriate field.
• Ensure, that the Repeater is awakened, and if not wake it up.
• Click the "Submit" button in the application and wait for the pairing to complete.
• Try again, if the process failed, or try to get the logic of the failed process from
software engineers.
• In exceptional situations multiple repeaters may awaken simultaneously. To address
this scenario, we have implemented an additional dialogue. In this dialogue, the
Installer can selectively choose the specific repeater they intend to commission.
Technical validations and limitations:
• Gateway limits - According to the Device specifications, it can accept up to 200 Nodes.
• The installer is restricted from adding more than 200 nodes to a Gateway, and once
the limit is reached, the application will prompt the installer to either add a new
Gateway or select one that has not exceeded the limit yet.
• Locks / Repeaters current state the validation that checks the current Lock state
if it is "awake" or fallen into "sleep mode" in 60 seconds will be added to the mobile
application.
After commissioning, mount the lid and fasten with the 4 screws.
