Setup

The Setup options enable you to customize network settings, printer settings, general settings and
machine settings which are specific to the machine, such as Date & Time and Power Management.

Network Settings

You may set up the network using the machine's display screen. Before doing that, you must have the
relevant information concerning the type of network protocols and computer system you use. If you
are not sure which setting to use, contact your System Administrator or refer to the
Administrator Guide
for instructions.
1.
Press the Menu button on the control panel.
2.
Press the up/down arrows to highlight Tools and press OK.

Press the up/down arrows to highlight Network Settings and press OK.
The following Network Settings options and settings are available:
TCP/IP v4
TCP/IPv6
Network Services
Ethernet Speed
Network Ping Test
AppleTalk
NetWare
Wireless
Reset to Network Setup defaults

Press the up/down arrows to highlight the option required and press OK.

Press the up/down arrows to highlight the setting required and press OK to save the selection.

parameters to use the network environment.

Services.
Configure the network transmission speed.
Ping is a computer network administration utility
used to test whether a particular host is reachable
across an Internet Protocol (IP) network and to
measure the round-trip time for packets sent from
the local host to a destination computer, including
the local host's own interfaces.
Use to enable the machine to be setup on an
AppleTalk network.
Use to enable the machine to be setup on a
NetWare network.
Use to enable the machine to be configured on a
wireless network connection.
Reverts the network settings to the default values.
