If the above troubleshooting procedure fails, you may have a
malfunctioning Network Interface or bad network cable. Manually set the
IP Address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway at the copier/printer
Control Panel. Wait for the printer to reset, and try to ping the printer
again.
