This button is usually programmed as the Emergency button.

This switch is usually programmed for zone selection.

Rotate clockwise until you hear a click to turn on the radio.
Rotate counterclockwise until you hear a click to turn off the radio.
Rotate clockwise to increase the volume.
Rotate counterclockwise to decrease the volume.

10 Top Side (Select) Button
Use this programmable button to access a programmed function or enable or disable a
feature.
11 Push-to-Talk (PTT) Button
Press and hold to talk in simplex calls or to initiate a group call, release it to listen.

Programmable Features

Your system administrator can program the programmable buttons as shortcuts to radio functions or preset
channels/groups depending on the duration of a button press. Some functions can also be programmed to
the radio switches.
