6.5 REMstar Pro CPAP System Step 3 Retrieving the Error Codes
. a. With your mouse click on the Start Button of your
Error Code Retrieval computer.
6.5.1 Error Code Retrieval
b. Select:
The REMstar Pro CPAP System stores error codes that may aid the Programs
technician in troubleshooting. The following instructions aid in the Respironics
retrieval of those error codes. The REMstar Pro can store up to 8 error Tools
Read Error Log
codes at a time. Once this limt is reached the error codes will be overwritten
beginning with the first error code.
Step 1 Installing the Software
a. Follow the instructions that are included with the
Respironics Utility Software. Included with the
instructions are the following:

Step 2 Connecting the REMstar Pro to your Computer
a. Connect the Sleep Link interface card and cable
between the REMstar Pro CPAP System and the
computer serial port.
b. Connect the REMstar Pro CPAP System to the proper
power source.
c. The software will load automatically
d. With you mouse click on the Run Arrow located
in the upper left corner of the computer screen.
e. The software will automatically read and display any
error codes stored in the unit along with the time the
error occured,
Step 4 Closing the Software
a. With your mouse click on Fille.
b. Select:
Exit
Step 5 Disconnect the REMstar Pro CPAP System
a. Disconnect the Power cord and the Sleep Link
communication cable from the REMstar Pro CPAP
System with C-Flex.
