Government. The ET 200AL distributed I/O system meets the requirements and protection
targets of the following regulations and related amendments:
• Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016 (EMC)
• Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Regulations 2012 (RoHS)
• Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 for ET 200AL safety components (fail-safe
modules)
