    SYSTEM DESCRIPTION OF THE F133-P Functions and features The delivery controller / dispenser model F133-P is a microprocessor driven instrument designed for the delivery of beforehand unknown quantities as well as displaying the flow rate, the delivered total and the delivered accumulated total. This product has been designed with a focus on: ▪...
  • Page 7 Page 7 Configuration of the F133-P The F133-P is designed for use in many types of applications. For that reason, a setup menu is available to program the F133-P according to your specific requirements. The setup includes several important features, such as K-Factors, engineering units, signal selection, power management (to extend battery life-time), etc.

    "8888888" and the flow rate "88888". Depending on the setup of the F133-P, relays are switched to start the pump(s) and to open the valve(s). In the software, a timer is started to monitor the flow rate.

    Page 16 3.3.2 MENU 1 - TOTAL TOTAL UNIT This setting is used to select the engineering unit for the indication of the batch total and the accumulated total. When you change the engineering unit, you must recalculate and reprogram the K-factor for the (accumulated) total. When you recalculate and reprogram the K-Factor, the history for (accumulated) batch total is not correct anymore, because the (accumulated) batch total is not recalculated.

    Page 17 3.3.3 MENU 2 - FLOW RATE FLOW RATE UNIT This setting is used to select the engineering unit for the indication of the flow rate. Alteration of the engineering unit will have consequences for operator and SETUP-level values, they will not be automatically recalculated to the value of the new selected unit.

    When used with the internal battery option (type PB/PC), the user can expect reliable measurement over a long period of time. The F133-P has several smart power management functions to extend the battery life time significantly. Two of these functions can be set.

    Page 26 4.4.3 MOUNTING The enclosure can be installed by itself or with the aid of a mounting plate in the configurations shown below. When the unit is installed on a wall or onto a meter, please use components and installation techniques that are suitable for the used materials.

    Metal enclosure When the F133-P is supplied with a metal enclosure (aluminum or stainless steel), the enclosure must be grounded in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
  • Page 28: Field Wiring Connections

    Within the United States all field wiring must conform to the National Electric Code, NFPA 70, Article 501-4(b). All field wiring enters the F133-P through the bottom of the enclosure and connects to the circuit assembly inside the enclosure. Wiring is routed through cable glands. Please make sure to order the F133-P with the correct drilling pattern and thread (metal) or hole (plastic) sizes.

The standard F133-P is not able to power the Namur sensor, as an external power supply for the sensor is required.
