7.2 Removing and inserting the inner glass pane

The space between the glass panes should be cleaned
regularly.
To do this, remove the inner glass pane, as follows:
• Remove the appliance door as described before.
• Place the appliance door face down on a flat surface,
ideally with a soft underlay to prevent any damage.
• Fold open the retaining brackets on the lower side
next to the hinges towards the inside.
• Lift the lower edge of the glass pane a few millimetres
so that it comes out of the recess.
• Pull the pane out of the upper holder in the direction
of the underside and remove it carefully.
To reinsert the glass pane, proceed in the reverse order
to that described above.
• Refit the pane by sliding its top edge into the slot
on the top of the appliance door and then placing
the lower edge back into the corresponding recess.
• Close the retaining bracket by folding it back and
pressing it in place again so that you can hear / feel
a click.
• Refit the appliance door as described above.
