2.2.4 Signal Alerts

The following signal alerts are used to inform you there may be potential dangers that lead to per-
sonal injury or damage.
In this manual and the messages on equipment, the following signs are used to indicate the de-
gree of potential hazard.

Signal Alerts and Corresponding Explanations

Indicates an imminent hazard which, if not avoided, will re-
sult in serious injury or death.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in injury or possibly death.
Indicates a possible potential hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, could result in minor or major injury.
Indicates a situation which can cause damage to the equip-
ment, personal property and/or the environment, or cause
the equipment to operate improperly.
This hazard alert symbol appears with most hazard alerts.
It means attention, become alert, your safety is involved!
Please read and abide by the message that follows the haz-
ard alert symbol.
Indicate the operation disobeys the safety regulations,
which may cause personal injury or death and is prohibited.
