2.1.3 Unintended Use

•
Any untrained person operates the machine in an unprofessional way.
•
The machine is special for compaction. Do operate the machine for intended use. Any uses for
purposes other than those mentioned in the manual are not allowed.
•
Startup and operation of the machine in an explosive environment is prohibited.

2.1.4 Qualifications of Operators and Maintainers

•
The machine must only be operated by trained and authorized persons which are at least 18
years of age. The responsibilities for the operation of the machine must be clearly specified and
complied with.
•
The operator must understand and observe the operation rules of the equipment.
•
Persons under the influence of alcohol,
medication or drugs must not operate, serv-
ice or repair the machine. See right figure.
•
Maintenance and repair tasks require specific knowledge and must therefore only be carried out
by trained and qualified personnel.

2.1.5 Conversions and Alterations to the Machine

Risk of machine damage!
Any unauthorized conversions to the machine and any use of untested or unauthorized parts and
tools could cause damage to the machine.
Do not do any unauthorized conversions to the machine, and use tested or authorized parts and
tools.

Unauthorized conversions to the machine are prohibited for safety reasons.
•
Genuine parts and accessories have been specially designed for this machine. We express
clearly that we have not tested or authorized any parts or special equipment which are not
