5.3.3 Downloading a file from Host to WDT2200 using the Kermit Server

This function downloads a file from host to the WDT2200.
On the WDT2200:
Connect the RS-232 port of the WDT2200 to the COM port of your PC via a null modem

cable.
Press the power key to turn on the WDT2200.
•
Check the WDT2200 protocol and communication parameter settings.
•
Press and hold down the [CMD] key for 2 seconds to enter User mode, then select "3.COM"
•
in User mode to enter Kermit server mode. (See On the HOST, immediately below, to do file
downloading from the Host side).
Note : You can press [CMD] and [Alpha] to exit the Kermit server and return to Ready mode
On the HOST:
Run the WDT2200's KERMIT.EXE utility program on the Host PC.
•
First set the communication parameters to match the portable's, then invoke the download
•
command by entering "SEND filename".
Enter [Q] to return to DOS.
