AUGER HOUSING GUARD
SERVICE BULLETIN #19

• Adjust auger housing guard ground clearance whenever the
guard is removed or replaced.
• Perform this adjustment with the height adjustment pedal
in the middle position.
1) Loosen the auger skid plate nuts, and adjust the auger skid to
obtain an auger ground clearance as follows.
STANDARD: 4-8 mm (0.16- 0.31 in)
FLAT ROAD: 0 - 5 mm (0- 0.20 in)
ROUGH ROAD: 25 - 30 mm (0.98 - 1.18 in)
2) Loosen the auger housing guard nuts and bolts, and adjust to
obtain an auger housing guard ground clearance of 2 -4 mm
(0.08- 0.16 in). Tighten the auger housing guard nuts.
3) Readjust the auger skid for snow removal conditions.
Tighten the auger skid plate nuts.
