(8) 2.5-inch Drive Bay
The bay where hard disk drives are installed. The
sequential numbers indicate the corresponding port
numbers. All bays include dummy trays.
(9) DISK LED (green/amber)
The LED provided for each hard disk drive
This LED light turns green when a hard disk drive is being
accessed. The light turns amber if a hard disk drive is
broken and it flashes green and amber alternately when a
hard disk drive is being rebuilt. (Only applied to RAID
System)
(10) Pull-out Tab
A label indicating the part number and serial number of the
server is located on the pull-out tab.
(11) USB connectors (front)
These connectors are used to connect devices that support
the USB interface.
(12) BMC RESET Switch
The switch to reset BMC of this server. Use the switch only
when there is something wrong with EXPRESSSCOPE
Engine 3 (BMC).
To use this switch, press it at least five seconds.
(13) Reset Switch
When the Reset switch is pressed, the system is reseted.
(14) DUMP Switch (NMI)
When the DUMP switch is pressed, memory dump is
performed.
(15) Unit ID (UID) Switch/LED (blue)
The switch to turn on and off the UID LEDs provided at the
front and rear of the server. Pressing the switch once turns
on the UID LED and pressing once more turns off the LED.
Commands from the software also cause it to turn on or
flash.

(16) POWER Switch/LED (green/amber)
The switch to turn the server on and off. Press once to turn
on the server. The Power LED lights green when it is on.
Press it again to turn off the server. Hold down the switch
for 4 seconds or more to forcibly turn off, the server.
This LED lights amber until the server becomes ready to
power on after the power cord is connected.
(17) Display connector
Connect a display unit. This connector is exclusively used
with the display connector on rear panel.
(18) Optical Disk Drive Bay (Option for R120d-1E)
The bay where the optical disk drive is installed.
(19) 2.5-inch HDD cage bay
The bay where N8154-45 2.5-inch HDD cage is installed.
Mutulally exclusive with optical disk drive.
