    S-DIAS COUNTER INPUT MODULE FC 021 Mounting The S-DIAS modules are designed for installation into the control cabinet. To mount the modules, a DIN-rail is required. The DIN rail must establish a conductive connection with the back wall of the control cabinet. The individual S-DIAS modules are mounted on the DIN rail as a block and secured with latches.

    S-DIAS COUNTER INPUT MODULE FC 021 The measurement result (the number of measured pulses) is provided in the count value register of the channel as a 32-bit value and the corresponding reference counter value is provided in the reference counter register. The result of the period or frequency measurement can be calculated from the difference between the actual and last counter values as well as the difference between the actual and last reference counter values.

    This hardware class is used to control the FC 021 hardware module. The SDIAS counter input module FC 021 has 6 digital inputs (2x RS422, 2x TTL and 2x HTL) resp. 2 counter inputs or an incremental encoder input, which can be switched to RS422, TTL or HTL. More information on the hardware can be found in the module documentation.
