Before setting the timer
* Insert a cassette with its erasure prevention tab in place. Make sure the tape is
longer than the recording time.
¢ Turn on the TV and set it for VCR reception.
¢ Select the channel to record and tape speed.
1 Press @ REC/OTR.
The VCR starts recording.
2 Press @ REC/OTR again.
"se —:——" appears on the TV screen
11 PAUSE/ and "OTR" flashes in the display

3 Within five seconds, press
@ REC/OTR repeatedly to
set the recording duration.
Each press changes the recording
duration on the TV screen and in the
display window in the following way:

* When the tape counter is displayed by
