If "AERIAL?" appears in the display window after
Auto Set-Up
Check the aerial connections and repeat the above procedure from step 3.
If you still cannot receive the channels, set the TV channels manually. See
page 31.
(Presetting the TV channels is necessary for recording TV programmes.)
If "SET TIME" appears in the display window after
Auto Set-Up
Set the clock manually. See page 30.
(Setting the clock correctly is necessary for timer recording.)
If the assignment of the TV stations is not correct
Weak broadcast signals may have been preset to 7CH or higher. Reassign
the channel number manually.
1 Press CHANNEL A/V to select the TV station you want to reassign.
2 Press CH NO. SET.
The CH NO. SET menu appears.

Press +/— to select the correct channel
number.
If you assign a channel number which has
already been assigned to another TV station, the
channel numbers for those two stations will be
exchanged.

Press OK.
To erase a channel
1 Press CHANNEL A/V to select the channel number you erase,
2 Press CH NO. SET.
The CH NO. SET menu appears.

Press CLEAR to erase.
Press OK.
