by pressing Il PAUSE/STILL
repeatedly.
¢ With tapes recorded at PAL LP or
NTSC SP/EP speed, noise lines may
appear, and the colour may fade
during forward and reverse searches.

¢ Forward and reverse searches may
not operate correctly on some TVs.
* The sound will be muted during pause

activated, the VCR enters the selected
operation mode after the tape counter

* When you play a tape recorded in
mono, the sound is always played
back in mono regardless of the Audio
Monitor setting.
* When you set NICAM to OFF in the
SYSTEM menu (see page 33), the
sound is always played back in
standard (mono) regardless of the
Audio Monitor setting.
¢ When you play back the tape recorded
in the NTSC colour system at EP
speed, only the sound of normal audio
track is played back even though it is
recorded in Hi-Fi mode.
