On-screen function display
DISPLAY
Important Note
When you record a video signal
output from this VCR onto another
VCR, turn off the on-screen function
display. Otherwise, the mode
indicators displayed on the TV screen
will be recorded on the tape.

¢ The indicators will be continuously
displayed while Index Search or
Counter Memory (see page 19) is
operating even if Auto Display has
been selected.
¢ The remaining tape length indicator
may notbe displayed correctly
depending on the type or condition of
the tape. Also, the remaining tape
length indicator may not be displayed
when you begin playback close to the
end of the tape.

¢ Auto Display
Only the affected indicator is displayed for 5 seconds, when the video
operation mode changes.
¢ Counter Display
The tape counter is continuously displayed. Other indicators are disp ayed
as in Auto Display.
¢ Full Display
All indicators are displayed continuously.
