2.3 Application areas, use according to the intended purpose The smilla. therapy chair is a medical product of risk class 1 and is use to compensate pronounced incorrect seating posture and/or seat posture instabilities. It permits permanent, pain-free sitting in a functionally and physiologically favourable position. -

• Always place the therapy chair on an even and solid surface. • Do not use the therapy chair if it has defective, worn or missing parts. • Use only accessories and spare parts made by Schuchmann, otherwise you will compromise the safety of the user. -

• Material: Lacquered beech Plastic gliders In order to prevent that smilla. tips over when being pushed back, there are plastic gliders below the feet. Thanks to these, smilla. can glide softly when being pushed back and remains in an upright position. The therapy chair should be placed on a surface it can slide on to ensure that the gliders can work as intended. -

All adjustments can be made with standard tools (e.g. Allen key, screwdriver or spanner). The smilla. therapy chair can be adjusted to the size of the user. The upper and lower arms as well as the thighs and calves should be at least able to form a right angle if possible. -
