Enabling the Link Test

1. If you do not see the ok prompt, press the Stop (L1)-a keys.
2. At the ok prompt, type:
ok printenv tpe-link-test?
tpe-link-test?
ok
The above screen shows the current link test state (false, or disabled), followed by
the default state (true, or enabled).
To enable the host's link test function, type:
ok setenv tpe-link-test? true
tpe-link-test? =
ok
Boot the host and verify that the transceiver cable problem messages do not
appear. Type either boot net or boot disk and press Return.
